A mother's love unending
While on this earth we share
Moments of compassion
Love that lingers there

Time to keep a promise
Time for us to go
Who is left to feel the pain
As swiftly as life flows

The road we share is weary
For all in life that's past
Our hearts are joined in union
With dreams we want to last

But time is of the essence
For all upon this earth
In gentle breezes flowing
Our souls have greatest worth

There among the shadows
Of memories we treasure
In moments of great beauty
The love we always measure

So see beyond the mountain
That is so hard to climb
Knowing you've reached a place
Where all the paths combine.
